I’m an experienced speaker, moderator and panel curator and as adept at interviewing scientists and CEOs as I am chatting to authors and celebrities. I’m experienced at both live and digital events, and have appeared at WOW festival, Stylist Live, Goodwood Revival, Wilderness festival, Lost Village festival. I’ve also spoken about beauty standards and my book UGLY at numerous literary festivals including Bath, and Cheltenham.

I’m experienced at hosting launches, panels and events aimed at press, influencers or consumers having done this with global beauty brands like Sunday Riley, Almora Botanics, YSL, Lancôme, The Body Shop and more. I’ve also been a guest lecturer at Goldsmiths University, Birmingham University and London College of Fashion, talking about the beauty industry, careers and inclusivity.

I speak about a number of topics within my fields of expertise, but a topic I’m really passionate about is pretty privilege and appearance bias. It holds such huge power to shape our entire lives, from who we decide to hire (and how much they’re paid) through the qualities we automatically attribute to some, and not to others, depending on their appearance.
