With Anita’s work it’s like reading a novel – it starts brilliantly, keeps you engaged through the middle and doesn’t tail off at the end. There are all sorts of surprises still to come. She’s a really talented writer...we all felt strongly that she sets a new standard.

ABOUT

I’m a multi award-winning beauty and features editor with over a decade’s worth of experience on some of the biggest print and digital titles in the country.

I’m also an experienced strategist and brand consultant, having worked for companies like Freuds, YSL, Dove, Superdrug, Braun, MAC and many more. I’ve worked alongside trend forecasting agencies like The Future Laboratory/LSN Global to predict what’s going to be killer in the world of beauty and health and for Mastered as an editorial expert. I’ve been on Woman’s Hour, BBC’s Asian Network and ITV’s This Morning talking all things race, beauty and wellness.

Most recently I was Beauty Director at Stylist and stylist.co.uk and prior to this I was Acting Features Director at Stylist. I was also Senior Beauty Editor at Marie Claire (where I was nominated for BSME columnist of the year for a feature on the trend of urotherapy – that’s drinking your own wee, FYI) and Beauty & Health Editor at Women’s Health (where I also won Johnson & Johnson’s and Fashion Monitor’s Journalist of the year awards.)

My words have also appeared in The Guardian, Cosmopolitan, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Sunday Telegraph, The Pool, Esquire, Men’s Health, i-D, Kerrang!, Clash, Schon and XO Jane among others.

I’m now freelance and looking for all kinds of new projects – so drop me a line.
